Engine Overview

This is a professionally rebuilt Toyota 5VZ-FE 3.4L V6 engine from Yota1 Performance, offered as a dressed long block. It includes pre-installed premium components like an AISIN OEM timing set, water pump, oil pump, and painted oil pan. The engine is assembled using high-quality Toyota cores, precision machining, and a mix of OEM and upgraded aftermarket parts to exceed factory reliability and performance.

Included Components and Features

Cylinder Heads

• New or OEM remanufactured heads

• Pressure tested for cracks and structural integrity

• Hardened Martin Wells exhaust valve seats for high-heat resistance on the New Heads

• Valve seats cut, valves ground, and lash set to specification

• Valve springs tested; Viton valve stem seals installed

• Machined for optimal sealing surface finish

Engine Block

• Cleaned, bored, honed, and decked

• Magnafluxed to detect any cracks

• Main bearing journals line-honed as needed

• Stainless steel plugs for oil and water galleys

• New freeze plugs and cam plugs

Internal Components

• Reconditioned and resized OEM connecting rods with new rod bolts
  Optional: upgrade to X-beam performance rods

• New pistons
  Optional: upgrade to Yota1 forged pistons

• New Hastings chromoly piston rings with gaps set to match your intended use
  Custom ring gaps available for forced induction builds

• King Racing bearings (main, rod, and thrust)

• Crankshaft checked, ground, and micro-polished

• Camshafts inspected, polished, and re-profiled as needed

Oil System

• OEM AISIN oil pump (installed)

• Oil pickup tube installed

• Painted oil pan installed

• Includes break-in oil (required for first 500 miles)

Gaskets and Sealing

• MLS (multi-layer steel) head gaskets installed

• New torque-to-yield head bolts
  Optional: upgrade to ARP head studs

• Includes complete Japanese Ishino gasket set

• New front and rear main seals

Clearances

• Main and rod bearing clearance: .0015″

• Piston-to-bore clearance: .0018″ – .0020″

• Thrust clearance: .0015″ – .0020″

An engine build sheet with all specifications and surface RA values is included with each engine.

Core Charge – $1000

A refundable $1,000 core charge applies unless you send in your rebuildable core ahead of time.

Core Return Guidelines:

• Core must be free of cracks and rust

• Return in original crate/packaging

• Return shipping is the buyer’s responsibility (or deducted from refund if we arrange it)

• Refund issued via check within 30–45 days of inspection

We prefer to receive your core, even if it costs nearly as much as the core charge. If shipping the entire engine isn’t possible, we encourage sending lighter components from your core.

• Engines are bagged and secured to a small cradle and pallet

• Commercial shipping available at competitive rates

• Lift gate and residential delivery available at extra cost

• Pickup available — please call for lead time and arrangements

Important Notes

• Break-in oil is required for the first 500 miles and is included with your engine

• Valve covers are not currently included — please reuse your originals

• Add-on options available such as Genuine exhaust studs, knock sensor, and harness
