Yota1 Performance remanufactured Toyota A340F 4WD automatic transmission for select Tacoma, 4Runner, T100, and Tundra applications. Customer must select Vehicle, Year, and Engine. VIN verification is required before shipment. Torque converter included. Ships by LTL freight only. Refundable $1,300 core charge required.
Every Toyota automatic transmission we build is completely disassembled, thoroughly cleaned, inspected, and rebuilt using premium-quality internal components. Our rebuilding process focuses not only on restoring factory performance but also addressing known wear points and common failure areas to improve long-term reliability.
Each transmission receives all new internal bushings, including upgraded pump-to-input shaft bushings designed to help correct torque converter apply issues commonly found in high-mileage units. The valve body is updated with an improved torque converter lock-up valve and pressure regulator modifications to promote consistent hydraulic pressure, improved shift quality, and enhanced transmission performance.
All clutch packs are replaced using high-quality friction materials to ensure dependable engagement and durability under demanding driving conditions. Critical wear components are carefully inspected and replaced as necessary to meet our rebuilding standards.
Every torque converter is professionally rebuilt and upgraded with an improved bearing and reinforced stator support, providing increased durability and reliability compared to a standard remanufactured unit.

Important Installation & Core Return Information
Transmission pan not included: Due to the many pan configurations used across Toyota applications, the customer must transfer their existing transmission pan to the rebuilt transmission during installation. The pan supplied on the rebuilt transmission is for shipping protection only and should be installed on the core transmission before return shipment.
Torque converter seating: The torque converter must be fully seated into the transmission before installation. In most cases the converter will drop in through approximately three engagement steps. Do not use the bellhousing bolts to pull the engine and transmission together. Failure to fully seat the torque converter can damage the converter snout, front pump, pump gears, or transmission case.
Core return: Drain fluids, secure the torque converter, install the shipping pan on the core, and package the core to prevent shipping damage. Core must be returned in rebuildable condition to qualify for refund.
