22R 22RE 22RTE 2.4L Dipstick Genuine 1985-1995

These dipsticks tend to wear out and not fit in the tube properly, so here’s a new one.

NOTE: The dipstick for the 81-84 (tall block) is discontinued, the 85-95 dipstick works as long as you have the matching tube and clamp. We have the kit available as an option above, The kit will work for all 22R based engines from 75-95 as long as it is used as a kit. 

Installation of dipstick guide tube and clamp:

Push the clamp onto the tube (it’s a tight fit, but it will snap into place). Be sure that the bolt tab is pointed up (this clamp shares a bolt hole with the upper alternator mount).  Apply a thin layer of RTV silicone to the lower 3/4″ (machined area) of the tube and insert into the block until the tube bottoms out.  Bam!  You are now a pro dipstick tube installer!
