22RE 2.4L OEM Coolant Pipe EFI Genuine ( back of timing cover passenger side )

22RE 2.4L OEM Coolant Pipe EFI is 1 of 4 steel coolant tubes on the 22RE & 22RTE engines.  This one is located at the back of the timing cover just below the intake manifold  (passenger side).  It fits EFI models only and is specific to 89-95 engines.  The 84-88 EFI engine uses a similar tube with a slightly different configuration, unfortunately those tubes are discontinued. RELAX!  The 89-95 tube will work on the 84-88 engines but you will need a 90 degree fitting to replace the straight nipple on the under side of the intake manifold (don’t worry it’s probably rotten too).  It is very common for these tubes to be rusted through or very close to it.  If you see 1 rotten tube, there’s a good chance the others will be as well.  This is one of those parts that takes zero effort to change during an engine swap but not so fun later.
