Description

Transmission Sleeve Tool

These press sleeves are exactly what we use to remove gears from the main shaft. The ID & OD are the perfect dimensions to provide support in the correct spot on the gear. This keeps the tips of the gear safe to avoid chipping teeth.

These sleeves will work on the following transmissions

W56

W56C

R150

R150F

R151

R151F

Please choose the sleeves individually or as a kit. The Kit consists of three sleeves, they each have their own purposes. Please see the description below

Sleeve #1 is used to remove 3rd Gear and 3/4 Hub

  • W56 and R Series – is used to press against 3rd gear, removing 3rd gear and the 3/4 hub

Sleeve #2 is used to remove 2nd Gear and 1/2 Hub

  • W56 and R Series – is used to press against 2nd gear, removing 2nd gear and the 1/2 hub

Sleeve #3 is used to remove 1st and 2nd Gear

  • R Series – is used to press against the 1/2 slider, removing 1st gear, main shaft center plate bearing and 5th gear all in one press.
  • W Series – is used to press against 1st gear, removing 1st gear and main shaft center plate bearing.

Kit – All Three Sleeve Sizes to use for a complete rebuild
