Valve cover grommets have always been a weak spot, so Jim designed these grommets. The valve cover grommets you are using now have a limited life, they get hard with age and lose their ability to keep proper torque on the cover allowing oil seep in all of the wrong spots. They are also kind of wasteful too, that’s a lot of expensive rubber and metal to throw away every year.

With a machined groove, these are designed to seal by using a replaceable O-ring. Your grommets are now reusable for the life of your engine with just a simple O-ring replacement. Self centering on the valve cover, they are simple to install since we also include the proper Allen wrench with our kit.
