Description

Dyna 5th Gear Install Kit For Non-Compatible Vehicles

Custom Yota1 kits created for your convenience.

The Dyna Gear comes with a hub installed that is used in the 5/94 to 1/95 Transmissions. If you are swapping the Dyna Gear Set into one of those units, nothing other than this Gear Set is required.

From 1/95 to 2/02 the hub on the counter shaft gear is removeable and must be swapped on to the new dyna gear, no other parts are needed.

From 2/02 to 9/04 the hub on the counter gear is not removeable but the slider can be reused

All parts within this kit are listed below.

  1. Custom Modified 5th Gear Spline Piece (Synchro Cone)
  2. Synchronizer Keys (3x)
  3. Synchronizer Key Spring (2x)
  4. Synchronizer Ring

From 9/04 going forward (Mostly R155 and R151) the 5th synchro assembly switched to a 4 Notch Hub. These units will require the basic kit as well as the add on Slider in the Alternate Version of this kit.

There are 3 versions of the Dyna 5th Gear Install Kit For Non-Compatible Vehicles.

The Genuine Version of this kit comes with 1-4 as listed above.

The Aftermarket Version of this kit replaces the synchronizer ring with a more affordable aftermarket piece.

The Alternate Genuine Version of this kit comes with the genuine 1-4 parts as well as a Slider to ensure fitment on the later generation of transmissions.
