Re-Manufactured 22RE 2.4L Mass Air Flow Meter 85-88
Re-Manufactured from Genuine Toyota Part #22250-35020
Works in conjunction with the ECU and injectors. The AMM provides the ECU with a signal representing the engine load. The ECU and injectors then adjust the fuel/air mixture ratio. The AMM adjusts to changes in the air mass, air temperature and altitude automatically. As with all mechanical parts the Mass Air Flow Meter will eventually begin to wear down over many years of continuous usage. As a result it is recommended that you replace this meter when you begin to notice a decrease in its performance.
