This rebuilt cylinder head undergoes a comprehensive restoration process. We begin by fully disassembling the head, including all valves, springs, and plugs. It is then hot-tanked, placed in a rust-removal tank, and finished in the iron blaster.

Next, the head is inspected on the bench, including magnaflux testing and pressure testing. Once it passes inspection, restoration begins. The valve seats are machined on the Serdi with a three-angle seat cut, and both the head and manifold surfaces are resurfaced.

The valves are ground to perfection, valve guides are honed, new Viton valve stem seals are installed, and the notorious leaky oil plug is replaced with a fresh threaded plug. Valve springs are tested, and the valves are installed to the correct height.

The result is a fully restored 3FE cylinder head, ready to deliver peak performance for another 40 years.

Core Charge & Return Policy – $750

A refundable $750 core charge is required with purchase. To be eligible for a refund:

• Core must not be cracked or have non repairable rust. If you’re unsure, send us a photo—we’ll confirm before shipping.

• Use the original packaging to return your core after installing the new head.

• We’ll provide a prepaid return label at the lowest available shipping rate.

• Once the core is received and passes inspection, we’ll process your refund (less return shipping) via check within 45 days.
