STOCK LONG BLOCK 22RE 2.4
The 22RE 2.4 four-cylinder engine was the standard in Toyota trucks and 4runners from 1985-1995 and is much loved due to its reliability. This is a stock replacement engine with no power adders. If you’re looking for something more extreme check out our Stage 1, 2 and 3. If that’s still not enough, then give us a call and we can talk about stage 5’s, big turbo’s, nasty cams and monster fuel systems. We love custom builds!!! To upgrade this engine’s simple yet efficient power, we install a variety of custom features, including cams, oversize valves, port work, head studs, high compression pistons.

THIS IS FOR YOU GUYS AND GALS THAT PLAN ON RUNNING SOMETHING OTHER THEN A STOCK INTAKE AND EXHAUST SYSTEM, STOCK SYSTEMS ARE VERY RESTRICTIVE SO WE WOULD RECOMMEND AT LEAST A GASKET MATCHED INTAKE SET, HEADER SYSTEM AND 2″ CAT BACK EXHAUST.
DON’T GET ME WRONG, IT WILL RUN GREAT WITH STOCK COMPONENTS, BUT WE PUT BIGGER VALVES IN THESE ENGINES FOR A REASON, THEY LIKE AIR!
